It is the goal of this Keramos student chapter to provide graduate and undergraduate students a ceramics research based community and the means for professional skills development. The purpose of the UConn Keramos community is to provide a local network of peers to discuss current research and developments in the field of materials science and ceramics at large. The professional skills that the UConn Keramos chapter aims to provide include: those skills necessary at research conferences such as insightful organization of the work, effective presentation of research, and ability to network.
